Celebrating 101 years in business, the Pendleton Times-Post has grown with the surrounding communities of Pendleton, Lapel, Markleville and Ingalls.

“Our goal is to serve our readers with the best coverage of news and community events in the area,” said John Senger, Advertising Director.

The Times-Post, which is published weekly, is part of a regional group of newspapers in central Indiana owned by AIM Media Indiana with sister companies AIM Media Texas and AIM Media Midwest (Ohio) a recent acquisition.

“We have three other newspapers in the area including the Fortville-McCordsville Reporter, with a weekly circulation of 6,000, the Greenfield Daily Reporter at 6,800 daily and 8,000 on Saturday, and the New Palestine Press, with a weekly circulation of 6,000, Pendleton publishes 2,000 papers weekly. Because all four of our papers are close to each other we can deliver a lot of readership for area businesses who want to advertise.”

During the past 2 years Aim Media Indiana has launched new Websites for the Pendleton and Greenfield newspapers which has increased readership in both markets. The papers also offer digital advertising through both of the Websites and a new Facebook feature called Community Connections, which can give advertisers even more exposure for their business.

“Community Connections is a way for a business to take advantage of social media exposure by simply posting to Facebook several times a day. Our advertisers are really seeing an increase of page visits every week,” he said.

According to Senger, the newspaper business has had to come up with other options for advertisers and readers in the past decade to remain competitive.

“We are not just in the newspaper business anymore,” Senger said. “Our advertising team can turn great ideas into success stories for customers looking for Website design and maintenance, creative ad design, special publications and commercial printing.
