Camping and Fishing Season is On

The Pendleton Business association welcomes new members Ray and Pam Aldridge.

They are the managers of Lakeview Acres at 5435 W. SR 38 here in Pendleton.

The Aldridgg's along with lifelong friends Tina and John Foust have put in a lot of hard work in since last year to give the 28 acre camping and fishing area a new family-friendly look.

"This place is all about family and safety now," Pam Aldridge said.

The grounds offer cabin, tent and RV camping. A swimming beach has been opened up to the public and there are plans for family game nights and movies.

Ray Aldridge manages the grounds and stocks the lakes with farm-raised fish weekly.

Lakeview Acres also has a bait and tackle shop and they also sell groceries. Anglers do not have to stay or fish there to buy goods at the store.

On Saturday, May 19th at 10:00 am, the Pendleton Business Association will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony and from 12:00 pm to 4 pm Lakeview Acres will host their grand opening celebration to kick off the 2018 season. The public is invited.
